Human impact to the Savanna
The Savanna biome has had a lot of human impact affect the environment and health of the Savanna. The African people use the Savanna land not just to live on but to graze their cattle and goats. The grasses get completely eaten and with no vegetation the Savanna turns into a desert. Huge areas of the Savanna are mostly deserting every year due to the overgrazing and farming.
Not only is the Savanna turning into a desert, humans have made the African Savanna their home, by building their factories, houses and farms there. All of these things have affected the environment in the Savanna. With the human population increasing in the Savanna, the animal population is decreasing. Humans also are mining things in the Savanna such as salt and coal. When these things are dug up they are than transported over to other countries (Australia, Asia, Europe and North and South America). The goods are also transported around Africa.
With humans moving to live in the Savanna, they have introduced new animals to the Savanna that have now affected the Savanna animals. With the farming in the Savanna, the cattle have taken the territory away from the wild animals and have also taken away the grazing areas for the other animals that feed on grass.
