Does the Savanna have any affect on the surrounding biomes?
The surrounding ecosystems of the African Savanna are the Tropical Rainforest, the Subtropical Desert, and the Woodland/shrubland area. The surrounding ecosystems of the Tropical Australian Savanna are the Subtropical Desert, the Temperate Deciduous Forest, and the Tropical Rainforest. The surrounding ecosystems of the North American Savanna are the Topical Rain Forest, the Subtropical Desert and the Temperate Grassland Desert.
The savanna doesn't affect its surrounding ecosystems in many obvious ways. Sometimes things such as natural disasters such as floods or bushfires affect the surrounding ecosystems if they are close. There is arisk that the natural disasters could spread into nearby ecosystems.
